Using the information above we decided to narrow it down and only show the data of the different types of crimes that happened in the boroughs of London. The boroughs we looked at were:
Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Lewisham, Walthamstow and Westminster.

We then looked through the data and tallied down the different types of crimes that happened in those areas. The crimes were split into 4 categories:
Arson, Assault, Looting and Vandalism.
For this task we had to work in groups to show data representation. We were given data that was based around the 2011 UK riots. The data representation had to be shown using only colored threads and paper.
This data representation shows the different types of crimes that happened during the riots. The longer the bars are, the more crimes have been done in that category. The color blue stands out the most, this shows us that looting was the biggest crime that happened during the riots. Also that Haringey was the town that was most affected.

Using the feedback from the group data representation i decided to locate the areas that were affected according to the London map.

With the limited time that we had, we managed to show our data using, thread and paper. The feedback that we got from this was that there was no hierarchy or a specific order in which the towns were placed. I then re-created this on Photoshop, my outcome is below.
