Data visulization

A visual representation of data comes in many forms. Many of the common forms include bar graphs, pie charts, line charts etc. Showing data can sometimes be complex therefore finding the right way to visualize the information accurately is important as “visualizations enable us to detect trends, patterns, and outliers”

Infographics

Infographics is an abbreviation of ‘information graphic’. It has become popular with the increase of online marketing over the past few years. Infographics is catogrized by illustration and large typography that display a variety of facts.

Here's an example of an infographic i found that i found really interesting..

This infographic was developed by an internet marketing and design company, Tasty Placement. This infographic caught my eye as it showed the information of many things in one graphic. It focuses on the use of fonts and colour among the worlds leading brands. The study shows colours within logos, font styles in logos and whether a logo is made up of just an icon, text or even both.
